Les Portes du Soleil

We enjoy both sunrise and sunset over pristine Alpine forests and views of  the valley as well as being able to see Mont Blanc. On clear nights a stellar array of constellations twinkle in the ngith sky.  Why not try a spot of bird watching?

Being located in a rural village  and surrounded by protected forests makes Chalet Uxello perfect for sports enthusiasts seeking beauty and convienece. A short transfer from Geneva Airport, we enjoy tranquillity at all times of day, which also makes the chalet an ideal spot for wellbeing retreats. Although the chalet is in a peaceful spot it is only a short drive (or walk) from Les Gets. We recommend a car to make the most of your stay here as Morzine, Avoriaz and Annecy are all within easy reach.

Answers to common questions

We’ve compiled a list of answers to common questions.

How far is the Chalet from Les Gets Village?

The chalet is situated above the town with a free ten minute bus ride to the shops and restaurants, or is a stunning walk to take in the views as you walk down into town.

Do we need a car in Les Gets?

Not at all, there is a regular free bus service every fifteen to twenty minutes, with the bus stop at the bottom of our drive. The bus goes straight into town.

You can also ski in and out from the Chalet, only having to cross the road to the slopes or a very short walk to the nearest ski lift.

How can I get from Geneva Airport to Les Gets?

There are regular scheduled bus transfers from Geneva Airport in Winter as well as numerous private transfer companies.

Transfer time is around an hour, dependant upon driver and conditions.

Is there a recommended mountain bike hire or ski hire in Les Gets?

We have partnerships with many of Les Gets’ premier sports shops and rental companies which give you exclusive discounts on equipment rental and activities.
